ROLE: Logo & Brand Identity Development
CHALLENGE: Develop a logo and identity for a new local skate shop in St. Paul, Minnesota. The client didn't want to focus their attention on just one of area of board life, but rather to find a way to encompass skate life and the future of skate life.
EXECUTION: The idea evolved through numerous iterations of typical skate concepts. Eventually, we envisioned elevating skate culture and community to the next level: outer space. This led to the development of the Blastronaut and resulted in a dynamic identity for Hangtime Boardshop.
